Occupational Health & Safety named SwabTek Surface Testing Solutions, OraSure Technologies as the Drug Testing category winner in its 2024 Industrial Hygiene Awards. The organizer published the winners on March 28, 2024.
The fourth annual program recognized products across 28 categories. Its focus was product development that could contribute to industrial hygiene, bringing together tools for workplace health, safety and environmental conditions.
The recognition followed the announcement that OraSure would distribute SwabTek surface tests alongside its oral-fluid testing products. Surface screening addresses a distinct workplace need: examining an item or suspected residue. It does not test an employee for drug use or impairment. The award recognizes the named product entry; product instructions and technical data remain the reference for choosing and using a test.
